APEX Gives Back for Christmas 2009

APEX Joins Forces With When Will We Cry? Inc. to fight Poverty in San Marcos, Guatemala

When Will We Cry? Inc. is the only American mission organization working in the San Marcos region of Guatemala. They help supply many much-needed resources to this area, where 74% of the people live in extreme poverty. They provide for both physical and spiritual needs for these people, most of whom do not have adequate nutrition, clean drinking water, access to healthcare, or sufficient education.

A Letter from the President/CEO -

Hi, I’m Tim McNatt, President/CEO of APEX Communications. First, let me say "THANK YOU" for your business. YOU are the reason that APEX exists and we don’t take that lightly. We hope you  find EVERY EXPERIENCE with us to be an "APEX Top of the Mountain" best experience. That is our goal.

Let me also tell you about When Will We Cry? Inc. and the people of Guatemala. About two years ago I met Lewis Thomas, the founder of WWWC. I was impressed by his love and caring for a people that have very little, especially in light of what we have here in Arkansas. In November 2008, I was able to go on a short term trip to the San Marcos region and work alongside Lewis and Ely Siebenhor, a Guatemalan pastor that works in these rural areas of San Marcos through about 50 churches. Their commitment, dedication and love for the people was overwhelming. The needs of these people were overwhelming. Just having beans and rice to eat is a daily struggle. Many live in nothing more than a shack. Basic health care is non-existent. I saw first hand that Ely and Lewis were taking a limited amount of funds and being a HUGE BLESSING to many people. I said, "I want to be part of that. APEX NEEDS to be a part of that. I bet the people of Arkansas want to be a part of that as well".

At APEX, we believe that we have been “Blessed to be a Blessing” and we will be making a contribution to WWWC to be used to help the people in San Marcos, for every activation done between Thanksgiving and Christmas. We invite you to give as well… out of your abundance as you feel led. We have a jar for any change, or you can make out checks directly to “When Will We Cry? Inc. and we will make sure they get them. WWWC is a 501(c)(3) organization and all gifts are tax deductible.

Tim
